April Update
April Hours: 2 hours
Spring Cumulative: 12 hours
Almost to the end of April. What a month it has been! My time here at Tulane is now coming to an end and I can't believe how fast it has gone. We finished taking our final NBME exam for medical pharm, so we're starting to wrap things up here. It was a lot of hard work to study for that final, but I'm glad we got it done. The last test we have coming up is for our cellular control mechanisms class. Most classes we are currently taking is for presentations and the seminar. |I have definitely learned a lot about the physiology of our body and the mechanisms on how drugs work. I will leave Tulane more educated on the subject because of the good opportunity I was given to school there. I look forward to seeing how my medical career unfolds, maybe I'll still stay at Tulane!
For community service this month I went back to the East Jefferson YMCA and helped the staff clean up their playground/back area where they hold special events. For the Easter party they are hosting, I wanted to help them clean the area and pick up trash. It is my favorite place to volunteer and I know the curriculum enough to follow their rules properly. I attached an image here of the sunset picture I took while working at the playground. It always feels good to be able to help where I can.
